Ali Muhanna Forced to Sign Pledge not to Participate in Rallies Demanding Release of Detainees: BFHR

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Forum for Human Rights said that the security authorities forced educational activist Ali Muhanna to sign a pledge not to participate in peaceful rallies demanding the release of prisoners of conscience. Muhanna was arbitrary arrested on Sunday (November 21, 2021) from one of Al-Daih streets.
The forum said that Muhanna has been already harassed for exercising his right to peaceful assembly, indicating that he has been summoned seven times this year.
Muhanna was forced to sign pledges not to participate in protests demanding the release of the detainees. He was also fined.
Muhanna is the father of prisoner of conscience Hussein Muhanna who has an shotgun injury in his foot and still suffers from its complications.
