Bahrain Mirror: "Bahrain is preventing Bahraini companies from carrying out any activities in the temporarily occupied Crimea," Deputy Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa told a Ukrainian official.
Deputy Foreign Minister held a remote meeting with First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova.
Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa reiterated Bahrain's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and stressed his country's principled position on preventing Bahraini companies from carrying out any activities in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The Crimea Platform is a diplomatic initiative for Ukraine and is designed to be an international coordination mechanism to support Ukraine's position on the Crimea region. This platform raises Russian sensitivity, as Russia considers any state's accession to this initiative to be biased against it. The first summit of the Crimea platform is scheduled to be held on August 23, 2021.
