Bahrain Mirror: Amnesty International said that no diplomatic agreement can change Israel's legal duties as an occupying force, in a reference to the normalization agreement between Manama and Tel Aviv.

"Any process aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace on the Israeli-Palestinian issue must include the dismantling of illegal Israeli settlements," the organization wrote on its twitter.

Amnesty International added that the peace process should also put an end to the systematic human rights abuses, achieve justice and compensate for victims of crimes under international law.

"No diplomatic agreement can change Israel's legal duties as an occupying force under international law and human rights, or deprive Palestinians of their rights or the protection provided by international law."

US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that Bahrain will join the UAE to normalize relations with the Israel.

Bahrain official news agency, BNA, stated that Trump and King Hamad bin Isa agreed in a phone call to establish full diplomatic ties with Israel.
