Government Pumps Additional BD177 Million into this Year's Budget

Bahrain Mirror: The government has agreed to pump an additional BD177 million ($470.7 million) into this year's budget to deal with the emergency expenditures incurred by the country as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Cabinet approved the bill in its weekly session, headed by PM Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. "The bill aims to allocate a budget not exceeding BD 177 million to deal with the emergency expenses required for mitigating COVID-19 impacts and curbing its spread," a report by Bahrain News Agency stated.
