Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Waleed Khalifa Al-Manea, undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, announced that they are coordinating with brothers in Sultanate of Oman to arrange a flight on a chartered plane to evacuate citizens in Muscat who came from Iran via Doha.
The decision to return Bahrainis stranded in Muscat came after they had earlier been informed through Muscat Airport security that the Bahraini authorities had refused to receive them in Bahrain, and that they should return to the Iranian city of Mashhad via Doha.
76 Bahrainis stranded at Muscat Airport have refrained from boarding the flight heading to Doha, which was scheduled to take off at 11:30 (Muscat timing), before the decision was later made to arrange for their evacuation to Bahrain.
