Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society said that any support or endorsement of the "deal of the century", aimed at putting an end to the Palestinian cause, is treason, calling on the Arab and Islamic peoples to reject the deal.
In its statement, Al-Wefaq considered that whatever is announced on Tuesday (January 28, 2020) is another part of the Balfour Declaration at the Palestinian level, which is a continuation to the Sykes-Picot plot for the whole region.
It noted that those who support or comply with the deal of the century are traitors, calling on all the peoples of the free world, especially the Arab and Islamic nations and their parliaments, governments and active forces to reject by all legitimate means this ominous deal.
Al-Wefaq stressed the need to "unite efforts and direct the main compass in the face of what is being plotted against the nation to blackmail it and steal its future as well as have control over it through the "Deal of the Century", which will be followed by steps and projects that will affect the region's governments, peoples, resources and sovereignty among other things."
Al-Wefaq warned at the end of its statement of what has been reported by some Israeli media that the ruling regime in Bahrain has thrown itself in the arms of Israel and supports the coming deal, stressing that this is very dangerous. Al-Wefaq further stated that Bahrainis as a people are against the deal, saying that anyone who supports it shall be added to the trash heap of history.
