Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society condemned "the sinful attack on Iraq's sovereignty and the killing of its official security forces members."
Al-Wefaq confirmed that "military action against the official forces (popular mobilization) is condemned and rejected", and announced its solidarity with the Government and people of Iraq.
"These forces have paid and are paying a hefty price for protecting and defending Iraq in facing terrorist groups that pose a threat to the security and stability of the region first and Iraq second," it said.
It stressed its "support for the stance of the religious authority in Najaf, the government and the Iraqi people in preserving Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity."
The society noted that "what is issued by the Bahraini regime does not represent the opinion of the Bahrainis, and that this regime has previously justified the Zionist strikes against three Arab capitals. The foreign minister said that the Zionist entity has the right to defend itself by attacking the sovereignty of Arab states."
Al-Wefaq offered "condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished healing to the injured."
