Bahrain Mirror: The Civil Service Bureau said that it decided to dismiss 3 directors from the Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, and to suspend a director and employee for 10 days with a salary deduction after they submitted a letter to Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on violations carried out by Minister Zayed Al-Zayani.
The Bureau explained that the mentioned individuals "misbehaved contrary to the requirements of the public service or undermined its dignity by defaming others through slander".
Zayed Al-Zayani is considered one of the ministers affiliated with the Crown Prince's wing and has close relations with him.
After the letter was circulated on media and social media outlets, the Crown Prince ordered the formation of a commission of inquiry headed by the Interior Minister to "verify the intent of defamation", which appeared to target the complainants.
