NHRA Hired Non-Bahraini Employee for 1200 BD Salary, Re-Hired her 6 Months Later as Advisor for 2500 BD

Bahrain Mirror: The National Audit Office Report said that the National Health Regulatory Authority addressed the Tender Board to renew the contracts of some suppliers within a period of less than three months from the date of their expiry, or after their expiry in some cases, which is contrary to the rules of the Tender Board No. 2 for 2003 on the procedures to be followed on terms of contracts signed between the buyers and companies or private institutions.
In the same context, the report said that on December 31, 2017, the authority appointed a female employee to the position of lawyer in the legal affairs group in the fifth specialized class, 9th rank, for a monthly salary of 1,203 dinars, under a local contract for non-Bahrainis and only six months later, on July 1, 2018, the authority re-appointed the same employee with a new employment contract for the post of legal affairs advisor in the fourth executive class and a lump sum salary of 2,521 dinars.
