Bahrain Mirror: The Cassation Court rejected the appeals of three prisoners of conscience, Amal, Iman and Fatima Abdullah who are spending 3-year prison verdict in Isa Town Women's prison over political cases.
The security authorities rejected a request by the sisters' lawyer to replace the sentence against them through alternative penalty law, noting that they are arrested along with their husbands over political cases, in violation of the law that does not allow the arrest of husbands and wives at the same period if they have children.
In recent days, the family of the three detainees appealed for the release of their daughters, however, there was no response from the authorities and officials.
