Family of Cancer Patient Detainee Elias Al-Mullah Concerned about his Health Deterioration

Bahrain Mirror: Mother of cancer patient detainee Elias Al-Mullah expressed concerns regarding his low immunity and inability to resist the disease.
Al-Mullah's mother said that she is concerned that cancer would return to her son amid deteriorating conditions and poor hygiene in prison and demanded enabling him receive medical care, Al-Saegh reported.
Elias Al-Mullah is one of the most prominent examples on the authorities' harshness in their inhumane dealings with political detainees, as he is constantly being harassed in receiving treatment. The authorities also refuse to release him to enable him receive the appropriate treatment outside the country.
