Bahrain: Filipino Remittances Increases by 66%, Reaches $152 Million

Bahrain Mirror: Remittances from Bahrain to the Philippines reached $152.66 million in the first half of the year, new figures revealed.
Remittances from Filipino workers working in Bahrain increased during the first half of the year by 68.87% to reach $152.66 million, compared to $90.4 million.
Figures showed that the remittances value of Filipino workers from the Gulf States during the first six months of 2019 was about $2.95 billion, compared to $3.24 billion in the same period of 2018.
