Bahrain Mirror: The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it rejects and condemns Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifah's Tweet in which he backed the Israeli strikes on 3 Arab states, including Iraq.
"The Foreign Ministry rejects and condemns the Bahraini foreign minister's tweet about the recent attacks on Arab territories and the Popular Mobilization Forces by the Zionist enemy under the pretext of self-defense," the ministry said.
It added "The Popular Mobilization Forces stood by our armed forces, the police (local and federal), the Peshmerga, and tribal fighters to defend our holy lands, and made great sacrifices to liberate the cities of Iraq and defeat the terrorist ISIS gangs."
On Twitter, Al Khalifa said: "Iran is the one who has declared a war on us, with its Revolutionary Guards, its Lebanese party, its Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq, its Houthi arm in Yemen and others. So one who strikes and destroys the piles of their ammunition is not to be blamed. This is self-defense."
