Bahrain Mirror: Amnesty International said that Jaw Central Prison administration canceled a medical appointed for detained leader Hasan Mushaima, who is sentenced to life imprisonment.
It explained via its Twitter account on Wednesday (August 21, 2019) that what happened to Mushaima is "one of the examples of ill-treatment forms against which Jaw prisoners on hunger strike are protesting."
Amnesty said that the appointment was canceled after Mushaima refused to be handcuffed during the visit.
