Bahrain Mirror: Al-Shura Islamic Society (a society within Al-Fateh Coalition) submitted a request to voluntarily dissolve itself, because of the lack of legal quorum by a number of its members and halt of its activism aimed at achieving the objectives for which it was founded.
The Minister of Justice issued a decree stating that after reviewing the law on political associations, Al-Shura Islamic Society is considered to be automatically dissolved.
The minister asked the Office of Political Associations to take action to liquidate the group's funds and transfer them to the Islamic Society account, in accordance with the decision of the general assembly.
