Bahrain Mirror: US Middle East Peace Envoy Jason Greenblatt revealed via his Twitter account that a meeting was held between the Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and his Israeli counterpart Katz in Washington.
Greenblatt posted a tweet showing the Bahraini and Israeli officials and wrote: "Terrific progress in Washington this week for Israel, Bahrain and the region. Israel katz and Khalid bin Ahmed exchanged friendly talk at the ministerial meeting in the State Department to advance religious freedom."
"When we say Israel is a part of the Middle East, that is not something new...We need to continue our effort to reach out to the Israeli people. They also want to see peace of mind for their lives and future generations," Greenblatt quoted the Bahraini minister.
An Israeli journalist working in the Israeli 13 Channel also published a photo for the two ministers.
