Bahrain Mirror: The Civil Service Bureau said that it fired a government agency director holding a forged doctorate.
It explained that the director refrained from handing over proof of his qualifications. A disciplinary committee was formed and it later became clear that he gave himself the title of doctor without actually obtaining the doctorate. Therefore, the disciplinary committee recommended the dismissal of the director for claiming to have academic qualifications and titles which he in fact did not have.
For his part, Ahmed Al-Zayed, Head of the Civil Service Bureau, said that based on the recommendation of the disciplinary committee, a decision was taken to dismiss the director and take necessary action in cooperation with the agency the director worked in.
