Eskan Bank: VAT won't be Applied on Housing Services

Bahrain Mirror: Eskan Bank confirmed that the Value Added Tax (VAT) which is to start on July 1 will not be applied on the housing services or the monthly installments provided by the Housing Ministry, stressing that the bank would continue deducting a quarter of the recipient's salary without any extra fees.
The bank said, in the context of clarifying VAT application, the tax would not be applied on the monthly installments due for housing services, and therefore would not affect the financial system related to the payment of the housing service.
