Bahrain Mirror: Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said that his country will not take part in Bahrain's conference because Palestinians themselves will not.
"We prefer to have a clear idea for the peace plan, as we have not been asked or informed about it," he said via his Twitter account.
"Lebanon has lands that are occupied and it has had a large number of refugees since 1948 so it's not normal to not consult [us] in the so-called peace plan," Bassil added.
He stressed that the Israeli side should be convinced that reaching peace is not by force but by restoring rights to Lebanon and Syria and by recognizing the right of the Palestinians to a state.
Bahrain hosts this month an economic workshop organized by Washington among "Deal of the Century" through which Trump administration seeks to put an end to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
