Bahrain Mirror: It seems that Qatar's Former Prime Minster Hamad bin Jassim joined the competition inside the ruling family in Bahrain through praising the Bahraini Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Khalifa bin Salman had made a phone call with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to congratulate him on the holy month of Ramadan.

Hamad bin Jassim said via Twitter "a testimony to history that His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman has firm positions. He does not follow friendship or hostility, according to the atmosphere, but he was a stubborn opponent who defended his country during the dispute between Qatar and Bahrain with all his might, which is his right. He is respected for his national position."

"When the dispute ended, his relations with Qatar were balanced and normal without a rush or deflation, but his positions during the dispute and after the dispute show the serenity and confidence," he added.

He went on to say "I remember his position when he represented his country at the summit in which he signed an agreement to go to court. He was firm in favor of his country. I respect him since that day because he demonstrates his high patriotism. He does not need my testimony and I do not need to say anything I am not convinced with."

Hamad bin Jassim concluded his tweets saying "I remembered this position when I saw this storm, which would certainly not benefit the sisterly Bahrain, and which was raised against this man, because he contacted the Emir of a sister country with many close ties."

These tweets would deepen the dispute inside Al Khalifa family where many parties are competing on power.

The Royal Court launched an indirect campaign against Khalifa bin Salman after he called Emir of Qatar and met religious authority Sayed Abdullah Al-Ghuraifi.
