Bahrain Mirror: Royal Court Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa issued decree 3/2019 appointing Khalifa bin Ali Al-Fadhel as an advisor in the royal court with the same allocations as his previous post.
Khalifa bin Ali Al-Fadhel is the Secretary-General of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) and a member in the board of trustees of Bahrain Institute for Political Development.
International human rights organizations say that the NIHR, whose board of trustees is appointed by a royal court, is an institution that aims at whitewashing Bahrain's image and justifying oppression and torture in the country.
