1320 Mosques, 632 Obsequies in Bahrain: Statistics

Bahrain Mirror: Akhbar Al-Khaleej local said that a statistics it prepared showed that there are 1320 mosques and 632 obsequies in Bahrain.
According to the statistics, the mosques belonging to the Sunni endowments reached 596, while those belonging to the Jaffaria endowments reached 724.
The majority of mosques are located in the Muharraq governorate, followed by the Capital and Northern governorates. There are 43 mosques in the Muharraq Governorate, 353 in the Capital, 393 in the Northern, and 15 in the Southern, while there are 69 obsequies in Muharraq Governorate, 329 in the Capital and 206 in the Northern and 14 in the Southern governorate.
According to the newspaper, about 30 mosques are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
