Electricity Minister Denies Gov't Intention to Lift Subsidies on Citizens after 4 Years

Bahrain Mirror: Responding to the statements of MP Ahmed Al-Salloum, the Electricity and Water Minister Abdulhussein Mirza denied the government intention to lift subsidies on electricity services for citizens provided for the first house.
Mirza said in a press statement that what MP Al-Salloum stated is "not correct", indicating that the government subsidy for electricity and water services to the citizen in his first house is still ongoing and there is no plans to change this.
He added that the subsidy for businesses enterprises to limit of 5000 kw/hour consumption has not changed as well.
