Kuwaiti Minister Withdraws from Economic Congress to be Held in Bahrain Due to Presence of 2 Israeli Speakers

Bahrain Mirror: Kuwait's Minister of Commerce and Industry, Khalid Al-Roudhan, has decided not to participate in the Entrepreneurship Congress to be held in Bahrain from 15 to 18 of April, due to the presence of Israeli speakers at the conference.
"I thank the response of Minister Khalid Al-Roudhan after a telephone conversation with him and his confirmation to me that he decided not to participate in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Bahrain and apologize for not attending the event," Kuwaiti parliamentarian Abdullah Ahmad Al-Kandari said on his Twitter account.
Bahraini groups and figures who oppose normalization with Israel have condemned Bahrain for welcoming Israeli speakers at the 2019 Global Entrepreneurship Congress, organized by the Tamkeen Labor Fund.
