230M Dinars from Unemployment Fund in Government’s Pocket

Bahrain Mirror: The Shura Council in Bahrain approved on Sunday, March 24, 2019, cutting 230 million dinars from the Unemployment Insurance Fund to finance the voluntary retirement program.
The Council passed the law, which was referred by the government to the legislative authority as a matter of urgency, by an overwhelming majority. The bill; however, was rejected by Jamal Fakhro and Aziz Abel, and Jalila Al-Salman abstained.
