Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said on Saturday (March 2, 2019) that "the Muslim Brotherhood is one of the important foundations of the terrorist organizations we see today in the world." He went on to say that "Bahrain was the first country to declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization a number of years ago".
The Minister spoke during an interview with the United Arab Emirates Sky News, welcoming the new position of the British government recognizing the Lebanese Hezbollah with both of its political and military wings as a terrorist organization.
When asked about the Muslim Brotherhood, Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, said it "is one of the important foundations of the terrorist organizations we see today in the world. This organization resulted, even before Al-Qaeda and ISIS, in the Islamic Jihad organization, the organization of Takfeer and immigration and very criminal organizations, the most recent of which is what we are dealing with now such as ISIS, Boko Haram and others, so the comprehensive view of dealing with these organizations, including the Muslim Brotherhood, must be clear. We must not hide behind words and hide behind political positions. Terrorism is terrorism, and establishing security and peace is another thing. We must maintain peace and security."
