Bahrain: 1300 Commercial Cases in Courts during 2018, Judiciary Settles BD 62 Mln Worth of Claim

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Council of the Judiciary in Bahrain said that the supreme Commercial Court had resolved 912 cases in 2018, and settled BD 62 million ($165 million) worth of claim.
The Council explained to the press that the Commercial Court had considered about 1,300 cases during 2018.
Statistical data indicates that the average age of litigation before the commercial court is 6 months in each instance. The council said that after applying the case management system in the commercial court in the last quarter of 2018, it is expected that the rate of the considered commercial cases increase.
