80 Employees Appointed in National Agency for Gulf Taxes

Bahrain Mirror: 80 employees were appointed in the National Agency for Gulf Taxes to follow up issues related to applying the tax in various sectors, government sources said.
A local newspaper reported that since the start of the VAT application earlier this year, the agency has received more than 1,000 calls per day to inquire about tax-related topics.
More than 1,000 companies have registered to the VAT, and the number of companies that have obtained a VAT registration certificate exceeded 600 companies.
