Bahrain Mirror: The International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) confirmed that it "will not forget Nabeel Rajab".
FIDH said in a statement on its website that "the date set by the Bahraini justice system for ruling" in what it described as "last chance" hearing is deliberate, chosen as a time when there is likely to be minimal media attention and international diplomatic pressure, indicating that Rajab's sentence may be confirmed, or indeed extended.
The federation called on journalists, NGOs, diplomats, citizens of the world not to forget Nabeel Rajab on December 31 and demand his release. It also confirmed that it will closely monitor the verdict of his appeal in the Court of Cassation and will not stop calling on the Bahraini authorities to release him.
