Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the issuance of Security Council Resolution 2451 on the ceasefire in Yemen's Hodeidah, and the dispatch of international observers to follow up what was agreed upon between Yemeni parties in Sweden.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said that the agreement reflects the desire and will of the international community to reach a comprehensive final solution based on the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism and the outputs of the national dialogue and Security Council resolution 2216 of 2015.
The Foreign Ministry further expressed its hope that the international community will continue to support the efforts of Secretary-General of the United Nations, Martin Griffith, to ensure the implementation of this resolution.
It is noteworthy that Bahrain is part of the Saudi-led coalition in the war on Yemen.
