NAO Office: Over 200 Foreigners in Municipalities, 55 of whom Older than 60…No Plan for Bahranization

Bahrain Mirror: National Audit Office report for the years 2017-2018 revealed that there is no clear plan at the ministry of works and municipalities to employ Bahrainis, indicating that there are more than 200 foreigners in the ministry.
In this context, the report also revealed that there are 55 foreigner employees in the ministry who are older than 60 years and they cost the government one million BD annually, noting that they work in technical jobs where national cadres can be qualified. It indicated that some of these employees have been working in the ministry since 30 years.
