Bahrain: 70 Citizens Arrested within 16 Days, 17 Protests Staged within Week

Bahrain Mirror: The security authorities are still carrying out night raids against citizens in Bahrain, prior to the Parliamentary and municipal elections to be held on November 24.
Human rights organizations monitored the arrest of 70 citizens within 16 days only.
Bahrain Center for Human Rights posted on its Twitter account saying 15 arrest cases, including 2 children, were monitored from 5 to 11 November. The center added that 17 protests were monitored in 14 Bahraini areas.
It also announced that 49 arrest cases, including 8 children and 2 women, were monitored within one week, from October 29 to November 4.
