Public Prosecution Detains Female for 7 Days, Arrests her Husband and Son

Bahrain Mirror: The Public Prosecution ordered on Saturday (November 3, 2018) the arrest of Rabab Hasan for 7 days pending investigation.
Rabab was arrested on October 31, at 10:30 am, after her house in Samaheej was raided by civilian militants affiliated with the interior ministry.
Family of Rabab Hasan said that the security authorities took her car and phones during the raid and arrested her husband Jamil Hussein Ali and her son Hussein Jamil, human rights activist Zainab Al-Khamis reported.
The activist indicated that with the arrest of Rabab Hasan, number of females imprisoned in Bahrain increases to 10, noting that they are imprisoned over charges related to freedom of opinion and expression and political charges.
