Saeed Al-Sammak: 55 Thousand Retirees in Bahrain before Applying Optional Retirement Program

Bahrain Mirror: Deputy Chairman of Al-Hekma Retirees Society Saeed Al-Sammak said that there are about 55 thousand retirees in Bahrain before applying the optional retirement program.
Al-Sammak words came during his participation in the 3rd Annual Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Pensions Conference organized by Al-Hekma Retirees Society and Takaud Savings and Pensions.
Deputy Prime Minister Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa said in a press statement 3 days ago that about 7 thousand employees have applied for the optional retirement program proposed by the government within a plan to reduce public spending.
