Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa paid a visit to his uncle, Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, days after his son, the crown prince, was given executive powers for the first time, the Bahrain News Agency said.
"The upward trend in development adopted by the government under the supervision of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister and the support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, is comforting," he said.
The King had entrusted his son with the development of government performance, the presidency of the Civil Service Council and the appointment of directors, all of which were vested in the prime minister.
