October 30th Deadline for Contesting Lists of Candidates in Elections

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced that October 30th, 2018 will be the last day to submit appeals against the decisions issued by the supervisory committees regarding the lists of candidates.
The Ministry will receive appeals at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments office located near the main ministry building in the Diplomatic Zone. Appeals will continue to be received during official working hours. The Ministry of Justice also opened its doors on Saturday October 27, 2018 to receive appeals on the decisions of the supervisory committees on Lists of candidates, from 10 am to 1 pm.
In the event of an appeal, it is presumed that the High Appeals Court will adjudicate the civil appeal in the case within seven days as of the date of the proceedings, provided that the judgment is final and can not be challenged.
