Bahrain Mirror: The Saudi Foreign Minister, Adel Al-Jubeir, said that Qatar had incubated terrorist groups and allowed suicide bombings to be justified, noting that it had contributed to destabilizing the region.
"Qatar has supported dissidents in the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in order to cause problems for governments in those countries and create instability, why do you do that?" he said in a speech before the US Foreign Relations Committee.
"Since the mid-1990s, Qataris have supported the fundamentalists and incited the people. Qatar has become a center for Muslim Brotherhood leaders, and the Muslim Brotherhood has generated Takfir and immigration and groups such as Al-Qaeda and Al-Nusra," he added.
He further claimed that "Qataris allowed a religious leadership to appear on television to justify suicide bombings, and this is unacceptable. Qatar is harboring terrorist groups and this is unacceptable. Al-Nashiri, the Al-Qaeda leader in the Arabian Peninsula in 2000 entered Saudi Arabia with a Qatari passport. We arrested a number of Al Qaeda members who came to the kingdom with Qatari passports, and the Qataris know that as well as the Americans and the world too."
