“Social Insurance Authority” Board of Directors Meets for First Time

Bahrain Mirror: Board of directors of Social Insurance Authority held its first meeting on Sunday (September 16, 2018) since its appointment by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in mid-August.
The board said in its statement that "it agrees to provide detailed offers containing the proposed amendments to the retirement law, as well as the Council's definition of the functioning of the Authority and its investment companies"
The political authority in Bahrain wants to pass new amendments to the retirement law that limit the privileges of the participants in order to save the fund from bankruptcy.
