Ali Mushaima Transferred to Hospital after 30 Days of Hunger Strike

Bahrain Mirror: Ali Mushaima, son of prominent dissident Hasan Mushaima, was transferred on Wednesday (August 30, 2018) to the hospital after his health deteriorated due to hunger strike.
Ali has been on hunger strike since a month and has been protesting in London, demanding granting his detained father his right to treatment from the diseases he suffers from, including cancer.
Mushaima was transferred by ambulance to one of London's hospitals to receive treatment.
His doctor said that there are several changes in Ali's health since the last test he underwent one week ago. He has drop in blood pressure, a severe drop in the sugar level, as well as in the protein, besides the headache and dizziness he suffers from due to these changes.
He stressed that Ali has lost 13 Kg and noted that his body muscles are collapsing.
