Bahrain Mirror: Citizens determined to run for Parliamentary elections complained about vote buying in their districts. According to an article published in Al-Bilad newspaper by Rashid Al-Ghaeb, the bourse on buying votes started with 10 BD for a vote, especially in districts inhabited by new Bahraini citizens, who have recently acquired the nationality.
Most of the vote buying incidents can't be documented, because they happen in dim areas, behind closed doors and in cars. Thus, demanding evidence proving this requires more investigation, with the knowledge of the competent authorities in the government.
