King Hamad Visits BDF General Command amid Absence of Marshal

Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa paid a visit to Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) General Command on Sunday (July 29, 2018), where he was welcomed by Defence Minister Yusef Al-Jalahma, Chief of Staff Dhiab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and senior officers.
The absence of BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa was remarkable.
The King was accompanied by Royal Guard Commander Brigadier Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
This is the second visit paid by the king, the Supreme Commander of BDF, to the BDF General Command this month.
King Hamad bin Isa praised the BDF force taking part in war on Yemen, along with Saudi Arabia and Emirates, talking about what he called many victories and the noble humanitarian efforts of the Saudi King to Yemenis.
The king also lauded the armed Saudi and Emirati forces.
