Bahrain Mirror: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met the Assistant to US President and Special Representative for International Negotiations, Jason Greenblatt, at the premises of the Diplomatic Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain in New York.
An official statement said that the meeting discussed "developments in the Middle East and resumption of the peace process".
Bahrain has strengthened its relations with Israel, coinciding with talks about "deal of the century" being worked on between US, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in order to put an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Meanwhile, supporters of the Palestinian issue say that the suggested deal is rejected and that it takes away Palestinians rights.
