Government and Legislative Authority Teams Agree Not to Mess with Severance Payment: Shura Member

Bahrain Mirror: First Deputy Shura Chairman Jamal Fakhro said that the teams of government and legislative authority agreed not to mess with the severance payment, adding that the main aim of presence of two authorities on a table of discussion is to reach compromises that lead to extending the lifetime of pension funds.
He went on to say that it was stressed during the first meeting between the government, Shura and House of Representatives that the legislative authority has the right to keep its two chambers in issuing legislations related to retirement or others.
For his part, First Deputy Speaker Ali Al-Aradi confirmed that the meeting ended by stressing not to mess with the citizens' rights, especially those of limited income or middle-class.
