National Guard Staff-Director Receives Peninsula Shield Joint Force Commander

Bahrain Mirror: National Guard Staff-Director Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa received on Tuesday (June 26, 2018) the Peninsula Shield Joint Force (PSJF)'s Commander Waleed bin Falih Al-Zhaheri.
An official statement said that the National Guard Staff-Director discussed with Peninsula Shield Joint Force Commander "various topics of shared interest" and praised the PSJF's consolidated role in safeguarding the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries' frontiers.
Peninsula Shield Joint Forces have been in Bahrain since March 2011. These forces participated in crushing the vast protests that demanded democracy transmission and putting an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power.
