Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini security authorities tightened their siege on house of spiritual leader of Shia majority Sheikh Isa Qassim, by adding more cement barriers around it, photos published by activists on social media showed.
Sheikh Isa Qassim has been under house arrest since June 23, 2017, when the authorities forcibly dispersed the sit-in held outside his house, in protest against revoking his citizenship and putting him on trial.
Sheikh Qassim was transferred by his family to the hospital to undergo medical examination for his eyes and was later returned to his home, sources close to him reported.
