Services Committee Approves Health Insurance Bill that Imposes Fees on Treatment

Bahrain Mirror: The services committee in the House of Representatives confirmed that it approved health insurance bill that suggests imposing fees on Bahrainis to receive treatment.
The committee said that it met with representatives from Supreme Council of Health and National Health Regulatory Authority to discuss the bill to issue health insurance law (...) and decided to approve it.
President of Bahrain Supreme Council of Health had announced that the bill suggests imposing fees in return for buying medications, meeting the consultant in addition to low fees to enter the hospital.
For his part, MP Mohammad Al-Maarfi said that the meeting led to canceling fees imposed by the bill, including canceling fees of visiting consultant physician.
