Bahraini Authorities Refuse Surgery for Imprisoned Activist Nabeel Rajab
2018-04-06 - 2:54 am
Bahrain Mirror: Adam Rajab, the prominent Bahraini human rights activist Nabeel Rajab's son, stated that the Bahraini authorities have declined allowing his father to undergo surgery despite his stay in the hospital, on the grounds that "he is being treated in the military hospital that he refuses to be admitted to because of the degrading treatment he is subjected to there."
Rajab said via his Twitter account on Wednesday (April 4th, 2018) that his father was taken to the hospital "as a result of continuous vertigo and nausea,"
"When he is transferred, he is tied up and taken in a minibus continuing small cells. Every time the bus stops or drives, his head hits the bars, as he is handcuffed".
