Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain News Agency said that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone conversation with Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah.
The king's call comes one day after he received a written letter from Emir of Kuwait, as the Emir sent letters to each of King of Saudi Arabia, King of Qatar and Emir of Qatar. The letters are believed to be related to the Gulf crisis in which Kuwait plays a mediation role.
The phone call also comes few hours after Al-Jazeera channel aired a documentary about the failing coup attempt in Qatar, as the documentary indicated that Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed and former Saudi Minister of Defense Sultan bin Abdulaziz are involved in supporting the coup.
