US Senate Delegation Meets with Bahrain King and Crown Prince, Visits BDF General Command HQ

Bahrain Mirror: A US Senate delegation arrived in Bahrain and met with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. It is noteworthy that the delegation met with the CP at the Bahrain Defence Force General Command headquarters, where the BDF Commander-in-Chief and Foreign Minister were in attendance as well.
The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said that a US Senate delegation led by Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Richard Burr met with the King of Bahrain at the Sakhir Palace.
The Bahraini King highlighted the "US vital role in maintaining regional and international peace and stability".
In the same context, the US delegation visited the Bahrain Defence Force General Command, where they were received by the Crown Prince, Commander in Chief of the BDF Field Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled bin Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Khalifa.
BNA reported that the Crown Prince stressed that shared policy approaches are essential if the international community is to effectively combat terrorism and extremist ideologies.
