Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa issued today Edict No. 1/2018, appointing a new board of directors for the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB).

The Edict stipulated reshuffling the EDB board of directors, under the CP's chairmanship and with the following members:

Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa
Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa
Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa
Hasan Abdulla Fakhroo (Deputy Chairman)
Minister of Finance
Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain
Minister of Labour and Social Development
Minister of Transport and Telecommunications
Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism
Chairman of Economic Affairs and Labour Fund (Tamkeen)
Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board
Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Farooq Yousif Al Moayed
Saud Abdulaziz Kanoo
Samer Majed Al Jishi
Yousif Abdulla Ali Redha
Tariq Jaleel AlSaffar
Khaled Ebrahim Humaidan
Khalid Ali Al-Ameen

The Edict stated that these appointments will take effect immediately for the term 2018 - 2021 and will be published in the Official Gazette.
